Tesco Launched Credit Card and Loan Comparison Service

Tescocompare.com has announced it is to offer credit card and unsecured personal loan comparison services. Neither service requires customers to fill in their personal features, and doesn’t run a credit check ensuring that their credit history won’t be affected. The site also provides visitors with jargon busting guides and FAQs to both services. Tescocompare.com’s Matthew Dransfield commented, ‘At a time when many consumers are feeling the pinch, finding the best credit card or personal loan deal is very important and we want to help them do that. Our new credit card and loan channels not only compare but also explain jargon and answer common questions to help consumers choose the products that are right for them’.

The credit card comparison feature provides consumers with three options. The quick search function allows users to compare deals without entering any details; the tailored search allows customers to refine their search to cater for their needs; whilst the card finder option allows consumers to type in the name of the card provider to see the deals on offer.

The unsecured personal loan service, meanwhile, offers four search options. There are similar quick search and tailored search functions, whilst consumers may also search by what they can afford or by what they owe.
